Setting a course for a sustainable landscape

In case you missed it, I wanted to point out a blog post that Becky Gallaher recently added about some wonderful GIS resources available from the Trust for Public Land. Here is the link to her post:
I just took a guick look at the Conservation Almanac to get a feel for how information was organized. The concept and breadth of the project is great.
I looked at a part of North Carolina where I am very familiar with conserved lands. For the time period covered by the almanac I know there were major purchases. None of these appeared on map. Now this may be from technical problems. The legend had conserved lands as displayed in bright green and the help says lands are shown as pink polygons.
I'm wondering ... what results some of you have found for your areas?
